Arrest Made In Connection To Clover Fire / Elevated Bacterial Levels Found In Little Deer Creek
A 34 year old man is currently in custody at Wayne Brown Correctional facility in connection to the Clover Fire. His bail is listed at $500,000.
Sierra Streams Institute, the City of Nevada City Parks and Recreation and Nevada County Environmental Health Department have issued a joint warning about elevated bacterial levels in Little Deer Creek at Nevada City’s Pioneer Park. Sierra Streams Institute’s routine monitoring found E. coli and other harmful bacteria levels exceeded the Environmental Protection Agency’s threshold for safe contact.
