Some community members are still recovering from property damage caused by the River Fire, a 2021 wildfire that burned 2,619 acres in the Colfax area of Nevada and Placer Counties. Connecting Point's Disaster Case Management Program works to help aid these survivors. KVMR's Cláudio Mendonça spoke with Nora Esders, the program's lead, about a recently received grant.
