Fire Safe Council Leaders Indicted / Foothill Fire Celebrates May Day / Western Gateway Park Hosts Wildfire-Ready Festival & Expo
Jamie Jones, Executive Director of the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County, and her husband, Christopher Wackerly, the organization’s Director of Field Operations, were indicted by a Nevada County criminal grand jury on more than two dozen felony charges including embezzlement, grand theft, money laundering, mortgage fraud, insurance fraud, perjury and forgery.
