  • Placer County Public Health reported four confirmed measles cases in the first week of March. EdSource - an organization focused on covering education in California - reports 16 counties have now fallen below the vaccination herd immunity threshold for measles which means an increased risk of future outbreaks. Nevada County is one of those 16.
