In June, KVMR will be celebrating its 45th birthday. We'll be partnering with Nevada County Pride, a local organization that celebrates and supports the LGBT community in western Nevada County, to host a brunch meant to honor two of KVMR's founding fathers, Charles Woods and David Osborn. News Producer Julia Ggem spoke with Uli Paulin and Del Phoenix — two of Nevada County Pride’s board members — to explore the ways that the accomplishments of Osborn and Woods can be linked to pride as we know it today.
